The Darjeeling First Flush is the rarest and the most exquisite Darjeeling tea that you can find anywhere in the world. From a single estate in Darjeeling, its uniqueness is in its creation - it is grown organically. The first pick of the season, it has a light, zesty and brisk flavour and a delicate amber hue. The tea is harvested in April each year.
Rinse the pot with warm water & add one teaspoon of tea leaves per cup. Gently pour hot water ideally at 90 degrees celsius. Steep for 3 minutes, strain & serve. Add a dash of mint/lime as preferred.
A delicate but crisp beginning with a pleasant 'Darjeeling' astringency, ending with sweet, warm, floral notes of rose, citrus and peach.
